Based on one of the Deep Ones from the Cthulu Mythos from the work of H. P. Lovecraft. He's fully poseable and I have to say I'm rather proud of this guy he's only my second ever attempt at making models like this :)

You're right to be proud Dom, it's amazing work! The fact that you've worked so hard and made it look so perfect, as well as making sure it's poseable is just fantastic. I hope we get to see the amazing animation when it's done. :D

Thanks Amy :D his poseability is a little limited (bring me some ball and socket joints!!) but yeah he's only my second ever sculpted model, the first being Budd the Bot :)

Cheers Wendy, its all smoke and mirrors to be honest, alot of the detail looks better with a shiny coat of paint and detail work to give the impression of being a more complex sculpt ;). I have to say the eyes are probably thebest example of what some shading and a coat of gloss varnish can do to add that extra bit of spanglyness :D

Thanx for faving my gryphon. I immeddiately thought, "oh, he's cute!" when I saw this little guy. That might sound weird, but I tend to find strange creatures like this to have a certain adorable quality. :)
